Knowing, Knowing Me, Knowing You was a documentary that showed how the show was put together and the antagonism between Alan and those who worked for him, as well as giving insight into the problems with his marriage to Carol. It was Broadcast on the 3rd July 1993.
In the programme, Alan is heard talking angrily on the phone "I don't wear one! It's a WEAVE!", a feature of the character which was never spoken of again.
