Bouncing Back is an autobiography published in 2002 by Alan Partridge. It described how he "bounced back" since the disastrous loss of his job at the BBC and his subsequent depression. The book was described by Shakin' Stevens as "lovely stuff", but was criticised for including the phrase "Needless to say, I had the last laugh" fourteen times, and was a commercial failure despite Alan's desperate attempts to sell it through the BP garage where Michael works and at Norwich Station. As a result, most of the copies were pulped and it is now only available at second-hand bookshops in Norfolk.
